The surface,
and the line
that finishes it.
From quarried natural stone to engineered slabs — and the standard, upgraded, premium, and custom edge profiles that turn a countertop into a centerpiece.
Stone & slab materials
Each surface behaves differently in heat, water, and daily wear. Understanding what a slab is made of is the first step toward the right finish.
01Quartzite
A metamorphic rock formed from sandstone under intense heat and pressure. The grains recrystallize into a tight, durable surface offered in polished, honed, or leathered finishes.
02Marble
Largely calcite, often holding fossils, shells, and plant matter. Hardness varies by stone — softer marbles are typically honed to soften the look of scratching and etching.
03Soapstone
A dense, heat-resistant stone made mostly of talc. Leave it untreated to patina naturally, or oil it to deepen and even out its character over time.
04Quartz
An engineered surface of milled quartz, resin, and pigment. Low maintenance and stain resistant, with looks that vary by brand and product line.
05Granite
An igneous rock formed as magma cools and solidifies. Quartz, feldspar, and mica make it hard, heat tolerant, and well suited to high-traffic spaces.
06Porcelain
A man-made, highly durable slab with excellent heat and stain resistance. Non-porous so it needs no sealing, and printed to closely resemble natural stone.
Edge profiles
The edge is where the eye lands and the hand rests. Choose the line that matches your design, your budget, and the level of detail you want carried through the stone.
